Mayor Tonantzin Fernández boosts outreach, pothole repairs in San Pedro Cholula
Mayor Tonantzin Fernández Díaz led the latest edition of the “Miércoles del Pueblo” in San Pedro Cholula’s Plaza de la Concordia, inviting directors, secretaries and other officials to hear residents’ needs directly. She emphasized that municipal workers are “servers of the people” and stressed the administration’s commitment to responding to community concerns.
Fernández also visited the Santiago Mixquitla neighbourhood to supervise the Bachetón 2026 pothole‑repair programme. She highlighted the recent acquisition of three new machinery modules that will expand coverage, reduce costs and allow full rehabilitation of heavily deteriorated streets. She thanked the repair crews and residents for their patience, noting that many roads will be rebuilt to provide safer conditions for pedestrians, cyclists and motorists.
