Mayor Toni Konjanovski urges youth voice at Bitola Erasmus+ event

Mayor Toni Konjanovski of Bitola attended the closing multipurpose event of the Erasmus+ project GivEUvoice – Materializing Youth Voices Across European Spaces. The EU‑funded initiative aims to strengthen young people’s participation in decision‑making, improve cooperation among youth, NGOs and local authorities, and develop youth policies in Europe’s peripheral regions.

In his speech, Konjanovski stressed that young people are the engine of positive change, encouraging them to trust their ideas, support one another and persist despite challenges. He highlighted Bitola’s active Local Youth Council and a youth centre run by several NGOs, which provide education, information and activism space. He also noted that the municipality has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the organization SFERA International to further boost youth participation and policy development.
