Ixhuatlán del Café mayor supervises completion of key public works

Mayor Viridiana Bretón Feito inspected five ongoing public‑works projects in the municipality of Ixhuatlán del Café. Four of the works are expected to be handed over in the coming days. The inspected projects include the rehabilitation and lighting of streets in Guzmantla, where 1,200 m² of concrete, 160 m of curbs, 170 m of sidewalks, a 35 m³ retaining wall and 240 m of street lighting were installed. In Ocotitlán, the paving of Cuauhtémoc street involved 600 m of hydraulic concrete, curbs, sidewalks and lighting. In Ixcapantla, a new pavement and lighting circuit to the local kindergarten was completed, and construction of a Telesecundaria school cafeteria was started and is near completion. The final site visited was the Guadalupe Victoria avenue, a central artery that has been without maintenance for over 40 years and is awaiting final concrete curing before formal delivery.
