Mayor Zohran Mamdani spent vacation in Hudson Valley

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani and his wife, Rama Duwaji, recently completed a week-long August vacation in the Hudson Valley and Catskills region. Using the village of Coxsackie in Greene County as their home base, Mamdani stated the location was chosen to ensure he could return to the city quickly in the event of an emergency.

During the trip, the Mayor was observed by locals traveling casually with minimal security, accompanied by a single bodyguard. His itinerary included visits to local establishments such as Tops Friendly Markets in West Coxsackie, Casa Susanna in Leeds, and Alons Uzbek Halal Grill in Highland.
