Municipalities in Mexico and Venezuela begin major road paving projects

In Amecameca, Mexico, Mayor Ivette Topete García inaugurated the paving of Emiliano Zapata and Atenógenes streets, using hydraulic concrete and adding sidewalks to improve drainage and safety.

In Mexico City’s Cuauhtémoc borough, Mayor Alessandra Rojo de la Vega delivered a 1,500‑square‑metre repavement of Ozuluama street with hydraulic concrete, a more durable and costly alternative to asphalt, and installed new road markings.

In Maturín, Venezuela, Mayor Ana Fuentes started a 2.4‑kilometre asphalt resurfacing of José Antonio Páez Avenue, applying more than 2,000 tonnes of asphalt, cleaning drainage channels and performing road demarcation, with work expected to finish within two weeks.
