Mayra Mendoza attends 25th Uniendo Metas AMBA SUR Model UN

The 25th Uniendo Metas AMBA SUR Model United Nations event opened with the participation of provincial deputy Mayra Mendoza. The gathering brought together more than 600 students from various schools in Quilmes, Lomas de Zamora, Avellaneda, Esteban Echeverría, Berazategui, and Florencio Varela.

This year’s theme focuses on “Financing for the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals: renewed commitments in the Global Alliance.” Participants took on various roles, including ambassadors, secretaries, and assistants, to simulate international diplomatic processes. Mendoza, who is also the acting Mayor of Quilmes, encouraged the students to engage in democratic exercises and pursue the transformation of unjust realities through civic involvement and the plurality of ideas.
