Mazara del Vallo declares city mourning for worker Marcello Erbini

The Mayor of Mazara del Vallo, Salvatore Quinci, has declared a period of city mourning for Monday, August 24, following the death of Marcello Erbini. Erbini, a 55-year-old worker, died in Palermo following a workplace accident that occurred on August 5 at a winery.

In accordance with ordinance no. 29, flags will be flown at half-mast on public buildings. The funeral service is scheduled for Monday, August 24, at 10:00 AM in the Cathedral. The administration noted that the tragedy highlights the critical importance of workplace safety and life protection.
