Mazatlán authorities activate Alba Protocol for missing woman

The State Attorney General's Office has activated the Alba Protocol to locate Perla Viridiana Gámez Lizarraga, a 34-year-old woman who has been missing since July 26 in the community of Escamillas, Mazatlán.

Perla was last seen leaving her home in Escamillas. She is described as having a light brown complexion, a thin build, long curly black hair, and medium light brown eyes. A notable physical characteristic is a 5-centimeter scar on her left arm. At the time of her disappearance, she was reportedly wearing a gray t-shirt, blue pants, and pink sandals. Authorities have indicated that her physical integrity may be at risk.
