The National Basketball Class, titled ‘Ponte Pila, Bota y Encesta’, was held simultaneously across more than 600 locations in Mexico. Organized by the National Commission for Physical Culture and Sport (CONADE), the event engaged over 50,000 participants across all 32 states.

In Mexico City, approximately 5,000 people gathered at the Venustiano Carranza borough plaza to practice fundamentals under the guidance of national team coach Omar Quintero. The event was attended by Public Education Secretary Mario Delgado Carrillo, who emphasized sport as a component of integral education.

Regional participation included Mazatlán, where activities took place at the Benito Juárez Sports Unit, and Cancún, hosted at the José María Morelos ‘Toro’ Valenzuela Sports Unit. These sessions focused on basic skills such as dribbling, passing, and shooting to promote physical activity and community cohesion.
