Mazda CX-30 receives 2027 upgrade with new trims and safety technology

Mazda announced a 2027 refresh of its compact CX-30 SUV, adding two premium equipment levels. The special‑edition Makoto trim offers a light‑toned interior inspired by the “Crafted in Japan” philosophy, while the Homura Plus version serves as the top‑of‑the‑range specification with extra comfort features and refined finishes.

Safety and lighting are also enhanced: the Smart Brake Support system now detects motorcycles and provides stronger intersection assistance, and Adaptive LED Headlights deliver more precise illumination with reduced glare. Mazda Connect is updated with advanced voice recognition and Alexa integration, and the MyMazda app adds remote‑control and vehicle‑monitoring functions. The model continues with micro‑hybrid gasoline engines – a 140 hp e‑Skyactiv G and a 186 hp e‑Skyactiv X – available with front‑wheel drive or i‑Activ AWD. Exterior styling retains the Kodo design language, introducing new colors such as Aero Grey and New Zinc Green.
