Mazda CX-5 price cuts in Vietnam push SUV into lower-price segment

Dealers in southern Vietnam have slashed the price of the Mazda CX-5. The top‑end Exclusive version (2025 VIN) is now offered at 762 million VND, a reduction of 107 million VND from the listed price. The standard model has been cut to 666 million VND, down 33 million VND, making it the cheapest entry point in the B‑segment SUV market.

These discounts bring the CX‑5 into direct price competition with models such as the Toyota Yaris Cross, Honda HR‑V, Ford Territory and Kia Sportage. The promotions are described as a clearance of older VIN stock to make room for the upcoming third‑generation CX‑5, expected in 2026, which is larger and features a refreshed exterior and interior design.

The price cuts are expected to boost sales of the CX‑5 in Vietnam while positioning the model as a value‑focused option ahead of the new generation’s launch.
