Mazda Indonesia launches new engine oil and upcycling initiative

At the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026, PT Eurokars Motor Indonesia launched the latest Mazda Genuine Oil and a sustainability initiative involving the upcycling of used oil bottles.

The new Mazda Genuine Oil, developed in collaboration with Idemitsu, features an upgraded API SP standard, moving up from the previous API SN specification. Available in 0W-20 SP and 5W-30 SP viscosities, the oil is designed to reduce engine wear, prevent deposits, and protect against Low Speed Pre-Ignition (LSPI).

In a separate sustainability effort, Mazda Indonesia partnered with Kompas Lestari and 4GoodThings to transform used Mazda Genuine Oil bottles into functional products. This collaboration includes items such as the Roadster Key Chain, which is inspired by the MX-5 silhouette, aimed at promoting responsible material management and circularity.
