Mazda joins Gran Turismo 7 National eSports Championship

Mazda has announced its participation in the ‘National Prefectural eSports Championship 2026 Online Gran Turismo 7 Division’. The competition utilizes the Gran Turismo 7 software on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.

As part of its ‘From Virtual to Real’ challenge program, which aims to provide eSports athletes with real-world driving experiences, Mazda is offering various prizes. In the general category for participants aged 18 and older, the top eight players will be invited to a real motorsport experience event. For the U-18 category (ages 6 to 17), the top three winners will receive tickets to a 2027 Super Taikyu Series race, including a special tour with pit lane access.

Additionally, Mazda will host a ‘Livery Contest’ using the in-game livery editor. Participants can design liveries for the ‘Roadster NR-A (ND) ’22’. Winning designs will be applied to actual competition vehicles used in the Mazda Fan Endurance series.
