Mazda Museum reaches two million visitors

The Mazda Museum, located at the company’s headquarters in Fuchu-cho, Hiroshima Prefecture, has reached a milestone of two million cumulative visitors since its opening in May 1994.

The two-millionth visitors were 71 fifth-grade students from Ohkou Elementary School in Hiroshima, who visited the facility as part of a social studies field trip. During a commemorative ceremony, Mazda President and CEO Masahiro Moro presented the school with a 1:18 scale model of the Mazda Iconic SP.

Following renovations in 2005 and 2022, the museum serves as an educational venue and a showcase for the company’s history, technologies, and manufacturing heritage. It attracts automotive enthusiasts and students from both Japan and abroad.
