Mazda Sentia flagship sedan highlighted in used car market

The second-generation Mazda Sentia, a flagship prestige saloon launched in 1995, is being highlighted as a rare find in the current used car market. Representing the final era of Mazda’s large rear-wheel-drive (FR) sedans before the company shifted focus toward front-wheel-drive models under Ford’s influence, the Sentia was designed to offer formal elegance and improved practicality over its predecessor.

A notable one-owner 1996 model with 64,000 km has been identified at the Kanto Mazda Washimiya store. This specific vehicle features a 3.0-liter V6 engine and an electronically controlled four-wheel steering (4WS) system, which helps manage its nearly 5-meter length. The model was engineered to balance VIP requirements with driver usability, featuring a redesigned interior for better passenger space and a trunk capable of holding four golf bags.
