Mazda updates 2027 Mazda6e with new battery and range

Mazda has announced updates for the 2027 model year of its all-electric Mazda6e five-door hatchback. The updates include a new powertrain featuring a 78 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, which supports DC fast charging of up to 200 kW and provides a maximum WLTP driving range of up to 560 km.

The 2027 model also introduces new trim levels and interior options. The Homura Plus grade offers a sportier exterior with gloss-black accents on the bumpers and side skirts, paired with a premium interior featuring black Nappa leather, suede-like woven fabric, and red stitching. Additionally, the Takumi Plus trim expands interior customization with a new warm gray color option alongside the existing tan interior.

Beyond the powertrain and aesthetics, Mazda has implemented refinements to the vehicle's suspension, driver-assistance systems, and energy recovery efficiency to improve the overall driving experience.
