Mazda updates CX-5 model and showcases custom MX-5 build

Mazda has introduced the third generation of its CX-5, which features a redesigned body, updated interior, and new electronic architecture. While the vehicle maintains its signature design language to ensure familiarity for existing customers, it has grown in size, with the wheelbase and overall length increasing by 115 millimeters. Notable functional improvements include rear doors that open at an 85-degree angle to facilitate easier access for passengers and child seats.

In a separate automotive development, a custom Mazda MX-5 has been created by Modern Custom Classics in Alabama. The vehicle features a handcrafted carbon fiber body inspired by the Ferrari 250 GTO, while retaining the original Mazda windshield, doors, and roofline. The custom roadster utilizes Mazda’s 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine paired with a six-speed manual transmission and a Borla exhaust system.
