Mazime ni Yabacity to launch short anime ‘Chocotto Yabacity’

The Japanese gaming group Mazime ni Yabacity has announced the launch of a new short gag anime titled ‘Chocotto Yabacity’. The series is scheduled to begin streaming on the group’s official YouTube channel on October 1, 2026.

The animation features various mascot characters living in a chaotic city, including Nekohiyoko, a cat-chick hybrid serving as mayor, and Tonton, a parasitic mushroom. The production is planned and produced by Shin-Ei Animation, with direction by Tomohiro Tsukimisato and scriptwriting by Yuko Kakihara. Animation production will be handled by Resprit.
