Mazovia region announces new social, infrastructure, and budget projects

The Mazovia region is implementing several local development and social initiatives. Residents have selected 91 projects through the Mazovia Participatory Budget. Additionally, 1.8 million PLN has been allocated for social assistance programs in 2026, focusing on homelessness prevention, food aid, and psychological support.

Infrastructure and safety updates include the installation of Poland’s first remote air traffic control tower in Modlin and the modernization of the railway traffic control system on the WKD line between Podkowa Leśna Główna and Warsaw Śródmieście. The Mazovian Voivode has also allocated 5 million PLN to the Polish Scouting and Guiding Association (ZHP) for civil protection and resident safety.

Other regional developments include a bridge renovation in Wyszków and the recognition of top regional museums during the 20th Wierzba competition.
