Mazovia volunteer awards seek nominations for social leaders

Various volunteer recognition programs are currently accepting nominations in the Mazovia region of Poland.

The Mazowieckie Barwy Wolontariatu competition, now in its 16th edition, seeks to honor active volunteers and social leaders who contribute to the Mazovian Voivodeship. Nominations are open until September 30. Previous editions have recognized 65 laureates and 92 distinctions. Financial rewards are available, ranging from 1,000 PLN for distinctions to 5,000 PLN for special category winners.

In Ciechanów, the local Volunteer Gala is also seeking candidates for recognition. Nominations can be submitted by NGOs, educational institutions, school volunteer clubs, and informal groups until October 1. The gala is scheduled to take place on December 4 at the Park Kultury Młyn to thank those dedicated to social engagement.
