Mazovian Voivode launches medical facility resilience program
The Mazovian Voivode has launched a call for applications aimed at strengthening the medical infrastructure and crisis response capabilities of healthcare facilities. The initiative is directed at local governments that serve as founding bodies for medical entities participating in the ‘Hospitals Friendly to the Military’ program.
Funding can be utilized to enhance hospital independence and resilience. Eligible projects include ensuring energy autonomy for at least 72 hours without external power, securing water supplies, protecting critical infrastructure, and maintaining the continuity of medical gas supplies. Additionally, funds may be used to purchase essential crisis equipment, such as ambulances for transporting highly infectious patients, mobile ultrasound machines, and mobile operating tables.
