Mazowieckie Sejmik holds mobile session in Ostrołęka
The Mazowieckie Voivodeship Sejmik held its fourth mobile session in Ostrołęka to increase regional government visibility and discuss cooperation with local authorities. The session, held at the Arkadiusz Gołaś Sports and Entertainment Hall, marks the first time such a meeting has taken place in the Ostrołęka subregion.
During a press conference at the construction site of a new bridge over the Narew River, Marshal Adam Struzik highlighted the province's financial support for the project. The bridge, which is the largest road investment in the city's recent history with a contract exceeding 160 million PLN, is being co-financed by the Mazowieckie budget with 75 million PLN. Struzik noted that such investments are part of a sustainable development policy aimed at creating a safe communication network across the region.
Sejmik Chairman Ludwik Rakowski emphasized the importance of cooperation between the provincial government and municipal and county authorities. Ostrołęka President Paweł Niewiadomski welcomed the session, stating it demonstrates the provincial government's commitment to being close to its citizens and ensuring development opportunities for all parts of Mazowieckie.
