Mazsihisz launches Jewish gastro-cultural series on ATV

The Mazsihisz has launched a new nine-part gastro-cultural series titled ‘Tejjel-mézzel’ on the ATV television network. Hosted by Mercédesz Deutsch-Fehérváry and Rabbi Péter Deutsch, the series explores the history, present-day reality, and human stories of rural Jewish communities across Hungary.

Each episode features the preparation of a regional kosher dish, such as fish soup from Szeged, goose porridge in Tokaj-Hegyalja, or authentic kosher dumplings in Komárom. The program aims to highlight living traditions and personal family histories within these communities. The series is scheduled to air on Thursday evenings through December 17.
