Mazzarino athletics track vandalized and looted

The local group Spazio Civico has denounced a significant act of vandalism at the athletics track in Mazzarino. The facility suffered extensive damage, including looted changing rooms and broken glass, which the group describes as a blow to the community and the youth.

Spazio Civico is calling for increased state intervention, including more frequent patrols, better equipment, and the installation of video surveillance to prevent further criminal activity. They emphasized that the track serves as an essential educational and social hub and urged authorities to prioritize its repair and security to prevent further urban decay.
