MAZZEL to perform theme song for Ayako Imoto drama ‘Saisei no Uzume’

The dance and vocal group MAZZEL will perform the theme song ‘Touch’ for the upcoming drama ‘Saisei no Uzume’. The series, which marks Ayako Imoto’s first starring role in a continuous drama, is scheduled to begin airing on Tokai TV and Fuji TV on October 3, 2026.

Based on the manga by Kirin Tendo, the story follows Tamura Uzume, a former child actor who became a recluse for 12 years following a specific incident. Her life begins to change after meeting Koroki, the representative of a handyman service.

SKY-HI served as the producer and lyricist for ‘Touch’, a ballad designed to reflect themes of human connection and warmth. The song was selected after the drama’s producer and the original manga author expressed admiration for the track’s emotional resonance.
