Ministry of National Defence inspects MB digital transformation
A delegation from the Ministry of National Defence, led by Major General Nguyễn Tùng Hưng, conducted a specialized inspection of the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB) regarding administrative reform and digital transformation.
The inspection focused on the implementation of digital government development, institutional reform, and administrative procedures. MB representatives, including Vice Chairman Vũ Thành Trung, highlighted the bank’s significant technological investments, which range from $50 million to $70 million annually since 2017.
MB has achieved high levels of technological autonomy, owning 95% of its backend and frontend software. This digital shift has driven substantial growth; while the bank had 1 million customers in 2017, by 2025 it recorded 12 billion transactions, with digital channels contributing over 50% of total revenue.
