mBank restructures individual banking into four specialized plans
mBank has restructured its individual banking services into four distinct plans tailored to different life stages: Young (ages 13–24), Adults, Premium, and Private Banking. This multi-tiered subscription model follows a similar architecture recently introduced by ING Bank Śląski and is a common practice among fintech companies.
The Young plan offers free account management, cards, and ATM withdrawals with a minimum single transaction of 100 PLN. The Adult plan includes the Visa Travel card, which offers fee-free transactions in 180 currencies, provided a monthly spending threshold of 700 PLN is met. The Premium plan provides benefits such as priority service, airport lounge access, and Fast Track at Chopin Airport, with fees waived for clients meeting specific asset or income requirements.
Additionally, recent market data highlights competitive deposit rates in Poland, with some promotional offers reaching up to 7% annually for new customers, though these often require opening specific accounts and meeting activity criteria.
