USL Dunkerque has officially signed Senegalese striker M’Baye Niang to bolster its offensive lineup in Ligue 2. The 31-year-old former international has committed to a one-year contract, which includes an option for an additional year.

Niang joins the club as a free agent, following a recent season in Turkey with Gençlerbirliği SK. His arrival aims to address Dunkerque’s recent scoring struggles, as the team has scored only one goal in its last three matches. The club seeks to leverage his extensive experience, having scored over 100 professional goals and played for clubs such as AC Milan, Stade Rennais, Bordeaux, and Auxerre.

This signing follows recent reinforcements including Steven Nzonzi and Gaëtan Robail. Niang, a 2019 African champion with Senegal, enters the French league looking to regain consistent playing time and help the club improve its current standing in the league table.
