MBBS student Sagar Sahoo missing from Berhampur medical college

Sagar Sahoo, a 20-year-old first-year MBBS student at MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur, has gone missing. He was last seen on August 31 near the Berhampur Railway Station wearing a white shirt and carrying a college bag.

Investigations revealed that Sahoo appeared for two examinations but failed to show up for a third Physiology test. Following a complaint lodged by the college Dean, the Baidyanathpur police registered a missing person case and formed a search team.

Authorities have recovered Sahoo’s mobile phone near the railway tracks close to the station. Police are currently reviewing CCTV footage and questioning the student’s friends regarding his mental condition as part of the ongoing search operation.
