MB&F unveils SP One Pavée diamond-set watch

MB&F has introduced the SP One Pavée, a new diamond-set variation of its Special Project (SP) watch series. Crafted in 18K white gold, the 38mm timepiece features 255 diamonds set across the midcase, the inner beveled flange, the crown cap, and the pin buckle of its seafoam-colored strap.

The SP One design departs from the brand’s typical avant-garde Horological Machines, offering a more restrained dress watch aesthetic. The movement utilizes an open architecture designed to make three core components—the barrel, the balance wheel, and the inclined dial—appear to float in space. This visual effect is achieved by minimizing bridges and screws, allowing the three elements to dominate the composition through sapphire crystals on both sides of the case.

Originally conceived by founder and creative director Maximilian Büsser in 2018, the SP One series previously included rose gold and platinum versions. The new Pavée model maintains the same in-house manual-winding caliber, characterized by a visual balance where the three principal circular components share the same circumference.
