MBK Ružomberok women's basketball team takes second at Ostrava tournament

The MBK Ružomberok women's basketball team secured second place at the Jiří Jurda Memorial in Ostrava. During the tournament, the team achieved a decisive 73:46 victory over Poland's Wisla Krakow before facing the host team, SBŠ Ostrava.

In their match against Ostrava, Ružomberok faced fatigue after playing three games in three days. Despite trailing by 14 points at halftime and entering the final quarter with a 55:41 deficit, the team improved their performance in the final period. However, SBŠ Ostrava ultimately won the game 69:60 to claim the tournament title.
