MBSB Bank expands cross-border transfers to 20 currencies

MBSB Bank has expanded its Global Easy Transfer (GET) solution within its MJourney digital banking platform, increasing the number of supported currencies from 12 to 20. Powered by Wise Platform, the expanded service now includes currencies such as the Canadian Dollar (CAD) and United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED), alongside existing popular options like the Australian Dollar and British Pound.

The expansion follows a significant increase in usage, with the bank reporting a 250% growth in GET transaction volume in 2026 compared to the previous year. Daily active unique users have more than doubled, and the service maintains a repeat transaction rate exceeding 90%. The platform allows account holders to transfer up to RM150,000 per day, providing real-time tracking and upfront cost disclosures.
