MC Alger to face Al‑Sadd in friendly match in Doha on Aug 15

Algerian football club MC Alger announced a friendly against Qatar's Al‑Sadd SC on 15 August at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium in Doha. The match, staged under the "Coupe sportive des hommes libres", follows an official invitation from Al‑Sadd and is part of both clubs' pre‑season programmes ahead of the 2026‑27 season.

MC Alger, coached by Tunisian manager Khaled Ben Yahia, is currently completing a training camp in Austria. The team has already played a 1‑1 draw with South Africa's Mamelodi Sundowns and a 2‑0 win over Saudi Arabia's Al‑Hilal, and will finish its Austrian preparations with a final friendly against Al‑Shabab on 3 August before travelling to Qatar.
