MC and Universidade Aberta graduate first 45 retail management students

MC, a Sonae Group company, and Universidade Aberta have completed the first edition of a degree in Sales and Retail Management. The three-year program, totaling 180 ECTS, resulted in the graduation of 45 executives.

Delivered via distance learning, the curriculum focused on market analysis, consumer behavior, and operations planning and management. The format was designed to allow students to balance academic advancement with their professional activities.

This initiative is part of a qualification strategy launched by MC in 2019 aimed at upskilling leadership through higher education partnerships. To date, 176 MC employees have completed higher education programs, with 58 others currently enrolled.
