MC Đức Bảo to host seventh season of ‘Vua Tiếng Việt’

MC Đức Bảo has been announced as the host for the seventh season of the television program ‘Vua Tiếng Việt’ on VTV3, succeeding previous hosts such as Xuân Bắc and Sơn Lâm. The program is scheduled to air weekly on Fridays at 21:00, starting October 16.

Đức Bảo, a former electronics and telecommunications engineering graduate from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, is widely recognized for his bilingual English-Vietnamese hosting abilities. He holds a TOEFL iBT score of 105/120, corresponding to a C1 level on the CEFR scale. Despite his proficiency in English, he expressed initial hesitation regarding the role, noting the challenge of mastering his native language to the depth required for the show. He views the position as an opportunity to further study and appreciate the richness of the Vietnamese language.
