MC Hariel headlines Red Bull Symphonic debut in Brazil

The Red Bull Symphonic project made its Brazilian debut on August 8, 2026, at the Auditório Simón Bolívar in São Paulo. The event featured MC Hariel performing alongside the Orquestra de Fluxo, a 56-piece ensemble conducted by Xuxa Levy, to blend São Paulo funk with symphonic music.

The performance was structured into six acts, tracing the history of funk paulista from its roots in the Baixada Nascente to modern iterations. The show included guest appearances by artists such as MC Don Juan, Neguinho do Kaxeta, Tasha & Tracie, and MC Menor da VG. The production, conceived and produced by oito™, utilized immersive scenography, audiovisual content, and high-performance sound systems to create a narrative experience that connected classical music elements with the cultural identity of the funk movement.

This inaugural Brazilian edition of the global Red Bull project aimed to showcase the cultural power of Brazilian funk by reimagining contemporary hits through new orchestral arrangements.
