Vietnamese actor Mạc Văn Khoa has publicly denied viral social media rumors claiming he has fallen into 100 billion VND in debt. The misinformation, spread via a sensationalist video, suggested that the comedian and actor had gone bankrupt and was forced to close his 'bun dau' restaurant chain.

Mạc Văn Khoa stated he was surprised by the claims, noting that he only learned of the rumors after his wife shared the content with him. He clarified that while he does operate a 'bun dau' business with his family, the closure of certain locations was due to standard reasons, such as the expiration of rental contracts, rather than financial crisis.

The actor expressed frustration with creators who post unverified information to drive engagement, noting that the false reports caused significant concern among his family and friends.
