McBaked pizzeria challenges Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo to pizza bake-off
McBaked bakery and pizzeria in Whiskey Creek, British Columbia, has issued a deep dish pizza bake-off challenge to Rivers Cuomo, the frontman of the band Weezer. The idea was conceived by owner Matt McIntosh and his 13-year-old son, Cameron, following a recent Weezer concert in Vancouver.
Cameron, a long-time fan of the band, recorded a video challenge that has gained significant traction on social media, accumulating over 12,000 views on Facebook and thousands more on TikTok. The challenge invites Cuomo to compete against Cameron to determine who makes the best deep dish pizza. The family intends to continue tagging the band in social media posts in hopes of securing a response.
