McDonald’s and YPF launch strategic alliance in Argentina
McDonald’s and YPF have inaugurated their first integrated service station in Vicente López, Buenos Aires. This new location, part of the YPF Black network, combines the fast-food offerings of McDonald’s with YPF’s FULL convenience stores to create a multi-service destination.
The partnership aims to transform traditional service stations into hubs that integrate fuel, gastronomy, and premium retail services. Under the agreement, the companies project the potential opening of up to 100 McDonald’s locations within the YPF network across Argentina, though expansion will depend on the commercial potential of specific sites.
While the model is intended to be federal and reach various provinces, specific details regarding future locations, such as Rosario, have not yet been confirmed. The next planned opening is projected for 2027 in the province of Buenos Aires.
