McDonald's and Zuma roll out summer extended hours and menus in Spain

McDonald's announced a summer‑time schedule change for a number of its Spanish restaurants, keeping some sites open 24 hours on Fridays and Saturdays and extending closing times to as late as 4:30 a.m. in locations such as Castellón, Murcia and Sant Boi. The campaign, promoted under the slogan “Este verano la noche se alarga,” aims to serve customers leaving festivals, concerts and other night‑time events.

Zuma Madrid introduced a summer programme that adds a seasonal menu of Japanese‑inspired dishes, two new cocktails and after‑work DJ sessions. The restaurant continues its executive lunch offering and seeks to attract diners throughout the day, from midday meals to evening “tardeo” gatherings. Both brands are targeting increased foot‑traffic during Spain’s longer summer evenings.
