McDonald’s announces limited return of McRib sandwich

McDonald’s has confirmed the return of its McRib sandwich for a limited run in several markets. In the United States, availability is expected to begin as early as October 26 or 27 in select locations. Confirmed cities for the rollout include Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Dallas, St. Louis, Seattle, and Cleveland, though customers have reported sightings in other cities such as San Antonio, Charlotte, and Pittsburgh.

The sandwich is also reportedly returning to restaurants in the United Kingdom at the end of October after a nearly ten-year absence.

The McRib's return has also drawn attention from cryptocurrency enthusiasts due to a recurring theory that Bitcoin price surges correlate with the sandwich's availability, a trend noted in 2017, 2020, and 2021.
