McDonald’s expands presence in Northern Italy with new and renovated locations

McDonald’s is expanding its footprint in the Lombardy and Piedmont regions through new openings and significant renovations. In Nizza Monferrato, a new restaurant is opening at the La Fornace shopping center, marking the third location in the province. The site features 150 seats, digital kiosks, a McCafé, and a McDrive service. The opening has created 35 new jobs for residents of Nizza Monferrato and surrounding areas.

In Monza, the long-standing Corso Milano location is scheduled to reopen on October 27 following an extensive renovation and expansion. Managed by Antonio and Luca Scanferlato, the project includes increased seating capacity and eight new digital ordering kiosks. The Scanferlato family, who manage five restaurants in the area, emphasize employment for youth and social inclusion, having integrated over 140 asylum seekers into their workforce through the UNHCR ‘Azienda Welcome’ program.
