McDonald's Japan announces potato discounts and frappe relaunch

McDonald's Japan has announced several seasonal promotions and product returns for August 2026. As part of the ‘Tokuninarudo’ campaign, the company will offer MacFry Potato M and L sizes at a special price of 250 yen each for 12 days, from August 17 to August 28. This represents a discount of up to 150 yen compared to standard pricing.

Additionally, the company is relaunching the ‘Cookie & Choco Mint Frappe’ on August 19. This renewed version of a popular 2024 item features a minty flavor profile paired with whipped cream and cocoa cookies. The beverage is available as a standalone item starting from 490 yen or as a set drink option.
