McDonald's Japan app offers mobile data rewards

Customers using the McDonald's official app in Japan can redeem accumulated loyalty points for mobile data. Through the app's rewards section, users can obtain 1GB of data for seven days via povo2.0 for 390 points.

Other available rewards include one hour of unlimited data through povo2.0, LINE Manga coins, and half-price Disney+ subscriptions. In comparison, redeeming points for food items requires higher point totals, such as 1,000 points for French fries or 1,300 points for a Teriyaki McBurger.
