McDonald's launches Monopoly promotion in U.S. and Canada

McDonald's is running its Monopoly promotional game in the United States and Canada, offering a variety of prizes through eligible menu item purchases.

In the United States, the promotion features a top prize of $1 million, paid out as $50,000 annually for 20 years. Other prizes include vehicles, vacations, and cash amounts ranging from $25 to $50,000 intended for home down payments or college debt. Participants must use the McDonald's app to register and redeem game pieces. The U.S. promotion runs from October 6 through November 1, with Chance Card gameplay continuing until November 8.

In Canada, the promotion includes a unique prize: a miniature Quarter Pounder made of 10-karat gold, valued at approximately C$20,000. Other Canadian prizes include a 2027 Nissan LEAF Platinum+, C$50,000 in cash, and 5 million Avion points. The Canadian game began on September 29, with game pieces available through November 2. The winner of the gold burger is scheduled to be selected on December 10.
