McDonald's locations in Japan announce temporary closures for renovations

Several McDonald's locations in Japan are undergoing temporary closures for renovations.

The McDonald's 171 Onohara branch in Minoh City is scheduled to close temporarily starting September 1, 2026. Following approximately one month of construction, the store is expected to reopen on September 30, 2026. Customers are advised to use the nearby Midorichihoku or Minoh Makioto locations during this period.

In Sakado City, the McDonald's Nissai Hanamizuki branch is currently closed for renovations. This closure began on August 17, 2026, and is expected to last until September 15, 2026. The location is scheduled to reopen on September 16, 2026, at 7:00 AM.
