McDonald’s opens high-tech restaurant in Demmin
A new, highly modernized McDonald’s restaurant has opened in Demmin, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, located on the B 110 near Jarmener Chaussee. Operated by franchisee Armin Treczokat, who manages 14 locations across Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, the facility is described as one of the most modern in Germany.
The restaurant features several technological and service upgrades, including three double-sided ordering terminals, mobile app integration, and the ability for customers to order directly from their tables for staff delivery. The drive-thru has been expanded to two lanes to increase speed, and two dedicated parking spaces are reserved for app users to have food delivered to their vehicles. Additionally, service is available for pedestrians and cyclists.
The facility includes over 100 indoor seats, 50 terrace seats, and a photovoltaic system on the roof. While the Playland area on the terrace faced delays due to delivery issues, the restaurant is now operational. The location aims to serve the local population of 10,000 as well as customers from surrounding areas such as Greifswald, Anklam, and Süderholz.
