McDonald's to relaunch Boo Buckets with Disney Villains theme

McDonald's is relaunching its Halloween-themed Boo Buckets in Happy Meals starting Tuesday, Oct. 20. To mark the 40th anniversary of the promotion, the company is collaborating with Disney to feature a collection of Disney Villains.

The limited-edition set includes designs based on Jafar, Ursula, Scar, Cruella, and Maleficent. Each bucket features character-specific stickers and a villain-inspired lid. The promotion will be available at participating locations while supplies last.

Despite the announcement, some customers have expressed disappointment on social media. Critics of the new design noted a preference for the original Boo Bucket style, which featured classic motifs like witches, ghosts, and pumpkins with specific plastic lids, rather than the new Disney-themed collaboration.
