McDonald's to reportedly launch Pokémon Happy Meal promotion in November

McDonald's is reportedly launching a new Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) promotion in Happy Meals starting November 5, 2026. The campaign, which is expected to run through December 9, coincides with the franchise's 30th anniversary.

According to reports, the promotion will feature 15 collectible cards distributed in four-card booster packs. Each pack is expected to contain three regular cards and one holo card, with six cards potentially featuring a signature McDonald's confetti holofoil. Customers may also have the option to choose between a Pokémon toy and a Pokémon Essential Handbook.

While the specific card designs and featured Pokémon have not been confirmed, previous collaborations have often utilized reprints of existing cards with exclusive branding. The promotion is expected to reach international markets, though specific launch dates for regions outside the United States are yet to be determined. McDonald's and The Pokémon Company have not yet officially announced the details.
