San Diego Comic-Con unveils wave of new action figure lines

At San Diego Comic-Con 2026, several manufacturers announced new collectible action figures. McFarlane Toys presented a slate of upcoming DC titles, including Gold Label Red Hood, The Question, and multiple Lantern Corps figures, as well as exclusive releases for Batman, Plastic Man and other characters slated for Fall 2026.

Four Horsemen Studios revealed its Infinite Legions reboot of the 1990s Skeleton Warriors line, debuting three figures—Dr. Cyborn, Aracula, and the previously unproduced Bone‑Zai—with pre‑orders expected in August.

NECA introduced an 8‑inch clothed Superman figure based on the 1978 Christopher Reeve film, featuring interchangeable hands and a flight stand, scheduled to ship in early 2027.

Mattel showcased a broad WWE collection featuring series of LJN‑style figures, tag‑team packs, and exclusive releases for stars such as Roman Reigns, John Cena and CM Punk.

Hasbro announced two new licensure lines: the Heroes of Hyrule series with 6‑inch Link and Zelda figures and a larger Ganondorf, and a Street Fighter movie line offering 6‑inch versions of Chun‑Li, Ken, Ryu and Akuma, slated for sale in October ahead of the film’s release.
